Kaniwa 16oz

Not to be confused with quinoa, kaniwa is a nutrition-packed seed that also hails from South America. Kaniwa does not need to be rinsed before cooking, but toasting it first brings out its nutty flavor. To prepare, add 1 cup kaniwa to 2 cups boiling water and simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
