Welcome to Snuk and its digital magazine, Caravan. Here’s what we do.

Snuk Foods is a global grocery dedicated to the best specialty ingredients from across the world. We believe that culture and good eating are inseparable, because food is about so much more than what’s on your plate. Our mission is to help you explore the world’s riches through cooking, all while keeping your pantry well stocked with your favorite foods.

Here’s a quick guided tour of the site to help you get to know us better.

Shop the store

In addition to the search bar on every page, you can navigate our catalogue of 2,000+ ingredients with filters for food type, region, and dietary needs. Each product page comes with a nugget of information and cooking advice along with a country of origin, ingredient label, and, in many cases, recipe recommendations for how to make the most of your new find.

As Snuk grows, so will our catalogue, including greater regional coverage around the world. For now, our core offerings range from Southeast Asia to North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean, reflecting the ancient Silk Road trade routes that connected Asian, European, and African kingdoms and cuisines.

Make a list

If you’ve created an account, you can start making your own shopping lists. You can create as many lists as you want themed around dishes, meals, or events, and leave notes for yourself on each item. You can even convert any recipe into a shopping list, then select which items you’d like to add to your cart.

We believe eating and learning go hand in hand, which brings us to Caravan by Snuk, this digital magazine devoted to understanding and celebrating the foods of the world and the cultures behind them. At Caravan, we’ll tell in-depth stories about our favorite food producers, share expert knowledge on the world’s culinary traditions, and give you loads of cooking advice. Expect plenty of guides to building your pantry and making the most of all the ingredients in our store. And find our (growing) database of recipes right here, featuring contributions by ace cookbook authors including Yotam Ottolenghi, Andrea Nguyen, Chrissy Tiegen, Ana Sortun, and David Thompson. You can filter those recipes by course, region, and dietary needs to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Caravan will publish stories weekly, and you can stay up to speed by following us on Instagram and Facebook and subscribing to our newsletter. Our inaugural theme is a reflection of Snuk’s core offerings: the foods of the Silk Road in all their delicious complexity.
