This outstanding Hawaiian rub made from brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame, pineapple, and ginger is an easy way to create an authentic teriyaki BBQ. Can be used on chicken, pork, fish, and vegetables. Makes excellent Kaluha pork when cooked over mesquite in a smoker. For extra flavor and moisture, spritz the exterior of your BBQ with pineapple juice periodically while grilling or add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes for a slightly spicier BBQ rub.
